Wild Asia Responsible tourism Awards – 2013


Apani  Dhani Ecolodge was the winner in the category « Best in Cultural Preservation » . 

This award recognizes engagement and efforts by tourism businesses in preserving, enhancing and promoting local cultures and heritage.
Wild Asia’s Responsible Tourism Awards is one of the first tourism award in Asia specifically focused on sustainable tourism best practices.

Established by Wild Asia in 2006, this annual award aims to recognize tourism operators who are making a positive difference  in the destination where they operate by adopting sustainable management practices.
  

Winners have been  declared at the region’s biggest B2B travel trade show ITB Asia (23rd – 25th October) in Singapore.                                                                   

 

 

 

SATTE - INTACH   Heritage Tourism Award 2012 

was awarded on 10th February

 to Mr. Ramesh C. Jangid  

for Documentation and Promotion  of Intangible and Living Heritage

involved with Crafts Tradition

and Community Based Heritage Tourism.

 

 

 Certificate for developement  of Eco-Tourism 

was awarded to  Mr. Ramesh C. Jangid 

for  his excellent contribution  and important role in development of eco-tourism 

on the National Tourism Day 2008 

by India Tourism Department  and Paryatan Avlokan Newspaper.

 

 

 

Water conservation & afforestation 

Certificate awarded  by Sub Division Magistrate  to Mr. R.C. JANGID 

for his work in the water conservation  and afforestation program initiated

 in 2006 by local administration under public-private parternship (PPP) scheme.
