If you are thinking of booking from a railway reservation centre,  beware of touts, even at the tourist reservation center, especially in Delhi, who will tell you that the train is fully booked, that you cannot get seats before many days. They simply want to sell you a package tour with a car.

In local bus via Jaipur:

- In Delhi, go to the bus station called ISBT Kashmiri Gate ( metro station : Kashmiri Gate).  Take a Volvo bus (AC) going to Jaipur. There are numerous buses (at least one every hour). Once at the station, you can buy your tickets (number of seat written on the ticket. So no problem of having a seat once on the bus). Buses are confortable. It takes around 6 hours from Delhi to Jaipur with a 20 mn stop at midway.
- Once in Jaipur, you should get down only at the final stop, (not before), which is the bus station of Jaipur called  " Sindhi Camp". The bus usually arrives platform 3.
- Then, you just change the platform and go to platform n°. 4.  Look for the place where to buy your ticket and ask the next DIRECT bus to Nawalgarh. Numerous buses (almost every 30 mn).  Count on a 3h to 3h30 drive. There are no deluxe buses between jaipur and Nawalgarh.

Warning: in Nawalgarh get off at the second stop ( called bus depot) and not at the first stop, near a roundabout and a petrol station. The latter is located a little further Apani Dhani

Note :  there are buses coming to Shekhawati from Delhi, from the bus station called "Sarai Kale Khan" which is relatively far from the center of Delhi. Not really advisable. Long journey and bit chaotic.

By car: less economical and environmentally friendly, but rather  practical. 6 to 7 hour drive (275 Km). First, drive towards Gurgaon, further on to Rewari, Singhana, Chirawa, Jhunjhunu and Nawalgarh.
